    As yet there is no release date, or rumours of one.
    Only people asking if there is one.
    I doont think its gonna happen in the near future at any rate.

    Unfortunatley the word from Skywalke Ranch is that the films will not be released on DVD until the series is finished. Ie - no until episode 3 is released. Apparently Lucas wishes to make the DVD something special, therefor he's waiting til he has some serious time to devote to them frown.gif

    2005 i think was the last release date i heard. Course all this may have been a load o sh!te some1 been spreading aboot

    MAke them special my **** .... It's classic Lucas. Milk video sales, when it's obsolete, with a Box set or 5 along the way, with extra colourful credits and remastered trailers etc. Then release the DVD's, singley, in 4:3 - setting up for the next 5 years of Box sets and re-releases.
    No respect for the man.
