Just read all the posts on "The things kids have to watch today..." and was amazed how many cool cartoons there used to be (and how many I used to watch!) smile.gif What do ppl watch these days, is there anything real funny that I am missing? Apart from The Simpsons, I guess there is Futurama which I think is hilarious and did anyone catch the one series of Family Guy on Sky One last year?? I thought that was bloody funny!

PS: sorry if i should have just carried on the other thread. Apologies. confused.gif

Hmmm, King of the Hill has its moments... especially when you notice Hank Hill is played by the same guy who played Butthead in the utterly hilarious Beavis & Butthead smile.gif (er I think, haven't checked the credits though)

Ah yes, now there's a cartoon that'll be sorely missed... although badly animated and mixed with boring rock videos, there were some really classic moments that had me in tears smile.gif

Family guy was pretty cool, cept it was completely unoriginal i.e. most of the gags come from spoofing other tv shows. The spoofs almost had me in tears, particurlarly the star trek one. So it was only a matter of time before the ran out of stuff to spoof.

Apparently Family Guy still runs in the States, churning out new episodes.

There's a 2nd series of Family guy, I downloaded most of the episodes and watched them, very funny, better than series 1 IMO. Has Sky shown series 2 of futurama yet? I don't get sky so i had to download those as well frown.gif Simpsons, Futurama, and Family guy are all great, I wouldn't bother much with anything else along those lines though.
