    below is a link to an interview the BBC's working lunch did with the head of BT Ben Verwaayen. It is a breath of fresh air compare to the guff put out by Eircom and some key quotes include:

    VOIP - a fantastic opportunity for BT

    Broadband is more widely available than analogue television and by next year more widely available than running water.

    Also note that BT have 3.5m Broadband customers despite competing against over 100 ISP's.
