The Breakfast Club was on there on Saturday and I'd forgotten how good it was.

That dance sequence, the harda55 principal, the vaiety of stereotypes...JUDD NELSON IS GOD!

    John Hughes, forgotten genius,

    Rob.

I love this movie, I love this movie, I LOVE this movie. As I wise woman I know once said, "You don't *watch* The Breakfast Club, you *experience* it." Well said, Ness.

So anyway, I have it on video and it rock-diddly-ocks. The only bad thing about it is that the ending kind of sucks ass. What about poor old Brian? How come he gets to go home single? There is no way that in reality he would have been satisfied simply to write everybody else's paper and then toddle home to his psycho parents, with no new love in his life.

If I were him, I'd probably have gone home and had a second go with the gun.

the breakfast club is good and all but it really sucks towards the end. it gets too earnest and up its own ass.

the quintessential dance scene is ace as is every confrontation with that repressed homosexual of a teacher but it just gets crap - like catcher in the rye meets the cast of hollyoaks and saved by the bell. now im not DISSING saved by the bell but YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

take off the rose tinted glasses - the sure thing is a way better movie

If you want to watch a decent 80's movie about teenagers try "Say Anything" because Cusack is a great actor.

Or what about "Better off Dead" - now that was funny - Cusack again.

The Breakfast Club? load of ****e.
