They all look pretty evil, apart from the fourth cat :)

    Nice ones.

    Nice ones.

I'm not a huge fan of cats really.
I didn't know those cats very well, and they didn't know me.
Luckily they didn't think the camera was edible. :)

You deserve a medal for even getting them to sit still for a photo in the first place! They're lovely pictures.

As you can see from my sig, lil Misty had to be held!!!

Be wary of your background, the tennis thingy in the first draws attention away, as does the big block of white in the third. The white cat is too overexposed, try and meter off the cat, dont let the camera meter the rest of the image. I like the dog, the lights really good, one thing that would add to it I think is try and get the body of the dog going away on the diagonal - it will lead you in and out of the shot.

I posted up the original pics, i usually tend to crop my pics and fix the levels in photoshop if needed.

About the tennis thingy, how would you suggest taking that pic while still showing that the cat is outside the window?
Maybe try line it up behind the frame of the window?

the last two are the best pics in my opinion but just a note about the last dog shot. for animals and people a general rule with very few exceptions is to focus on the eyes as it's where us humans naturally look at first. the dogs nose is sharper than his eyes in your pic

    Aye, i know.
It was a tough shot to get.
    He's a lively little guy.
I just had him out for a walk and had the camera with me.
I was holding his lease with one hand, holding camera with other hand and trying to get his attention.
It could have turned out much worse. ;)
