Hey all, heres my 1st ever build, almost at completion :D
All that has to be done is get rid of the cd rom (it looks sh!te, i nicked it from an old p3) slap in a nicer cd rw and a dvd rom and shes almost finished. (gotta save for a few mor months till i can afford a geforce 6800!)
    Specs are:
AMD 64 3000+, 1gb pc3200 corsair extreme memory, asus k8vSE deluxe edition, 120gb western digital caviar hdd, Antec smart power 450w psu, cooler master musketeer system monitor thingy.
p.s please excuse the quality of the photos, taken on a mini zippo sized digital cam, not the best quality (but fits right in your pocket!)

Pretty please post up the costs. Me's going to be building a new system (for LAN's, and cos this one is a 2 year old Dell), and I'd like to know the price's.

Also, I see your going for AMD. Do you think they're better for gaming than Intels' chip?

Yeah i definitely think amd has the edge over intel for gaming, thats the main reason i went down the amd 64 route for this build. Ask most boards users and theyll tell you the same i think.
So far the total costs were fairly cheap, cause i bought alot of the stuff off boards lol.
    Case:E70
    Mobo:E170
    HDD:E89
CPU:E250 (you can get them ALOT cheaper online, however i have no way of buying online so got ripped off buying one from unity etail)
    Cooler master musketeer:E40
    Ram:E160 (from boards)
    PSU:E60 (from boards again)
And my gfx card i just took from my old system and stuck in the new one.

Thats a really nice looking case. My system is detailed in my signature and i got it all for €1900... To be honest mine is the best build i have seen for €2000 or less. Everyone else goes off and gets a €600 gfx card instead of maxing ram and stuff... Good job with the build

From what ive heard, my case is out of production now, so i dont think you can get them anymore :(
Ive seen those tsunami cases before in peats, theyre really nice cases, if my budget had been bigger id have gotten one :D Thats a good price for your build, prior. I really kept my costs down tho by buying from the good people of boards tho lol.
