    Have a laptop card 802.11g which is the cheapest and easyest way to set up for my home computer to share internet and files?

    A pci 802.11g card in your PC combined with 'Internet Connection Sharing' would be the cheapest method. But you could only have access to the net when the PC is on. A wireless router would be more expensive but it would not require you to have the PC running to have net access.

    wheres the cheapest place to buy one,have the Main pc on doesnt really bother me so will go for the pci op

    Not sure where the best deals are these days. But it the type of item PC World/ Compustore etc. would have in stock.
