this was on sky premier last night,
jasus, what a film, ****ing ecellent.
bloody shocking the discrimination that goes on . the scariest thing about it though is i could understand whay the skinheads were so ****ed off.

Yeah, pretty powerfull stuff. I liked it.
The director wasnt happy with it though(studio meddling) and demanded his name to be removed from it. Cant remember his name.

For another equally powerful and disturbing look at roughly the same thing, have a look at Romper Stomper, a film from years back with Russel Crowe in the lead role. Thought-provoking and quite nasty stuff.

Yeah that was Romper Stomper. That was a good film. The American History X has a 10 minute scene that was cut from the flim that was pretty good. It was before the Skinheads leader got whacked. Overall it was a great flim although the ending was very predictable.

i just like the mad songs in the background of Romper Stomper.. great film imo, and an excellent performance by Russell Crowe.
it should still be in hmv or virgin for like 4 quid or something at the moment btw.

have yet to see american history x, think ill buy it this evening

I have the soundtrack and the songs are decidedly dodgy - unlike Tim Robbins with Bob Roberts they left them on the soundtrack.

Best ever piece of closing music imo, to go with the sideways shot of the tide - ah the good old Dead Nazi March
