Photoshop / Digital Art

So this board seems to mostly consist of photographers it seems. Is there much in the way of digital art enthusiasts around these parts, or in Ireland specifically? Even such a thing as a dedicated forum for amateur (or otherwise) artists in Ireland ? By digital art I am of course talking of apps like Painter, Photoshop etc; creating pieces either as expressing ones self or as part of a "project". I'm eager to learn and improve my skills, and would certainly feel more enthusiastic if it were around fellow Irish digital designers ...

yeah deviantart.com is excellent, all the best stuff is there. Also, I don't know how good you are, this might be too basic for you, but good-tutorials.com is a great site too.

hehe *note to self: check own threads more often* :)

Yeah I know of deviantart, though it can be a painfully slow server to browse through hmm. Computer Arts is a good magazine, I try to get it when i can; forgot there was a forum. :) that mate's work is nice for sure.
But specifically I was wondering if in general, Irish digital artists (be it Photoshop, Painter etc) met up anywhere on the net or at least converged in one area, ala deviantart; at the moment I mostly do skinning work for low poly models (or rather, this is what gobbles up 90% of my art time) for a group of people, and would like to mix, professionally or even socially with similar people.

I'm only really familiar with deviantart for art purposes, so I'll tell you what I know. They've got an Irish community, http://eire.deviantart.com/, and there ends the knowledge.
