Guitar Shops in Dublin?

    Hello all,

Calling all Dublin rockers! I am taking a trip to Dublin tomorrow to buy a new bass guitar...I was just wondering what the best (playing) music shops in Dublin are, and are they close to any shopping streets, such as Grafton Street?

To be honest, it doesn't matter if the shops are expensive, I want to play some quality instruments and then make my decision! I don't want to go to a shop and find out they sell all violins and one classical guitar either! :D

Thanks very much in advance for any replies,

    Dan

Head to Temple Bar and that area. You have Music Maker, Musician Inc and Instrumental down at the quays.

  • Drury Street which is just parallel to Georges street has in about a 2 minute walk from each, Music Maker, Musician Inc. and Perfect Pitch.

there is musician and music maker , they are very close to grafton st.

musician have some nice basses, mainly aria and ibanez last time i checked.

if worst comes to worst u can check out waltons , just a stones throw away from the others but a poor selection of quality let alone basses

Musician Inc. and Musicmaker are packed with quality instruments and you won't find nicer people to talk to you or advise you than you will in Musician Inc.
