GFX CARD PROBLEM..i think??

    lo all

    I have just got a new mother board ( ABit IS7) and Gfx card 5700LE 128mb
    and i have a strange problem when watchin dvds with POWERDVD,
    the qualilty of the picture is crap,it has lines running through it and is out of focus , but when I play the dvd and view it through lan View( think thats what its called) it plays fine ...

    any ideas what causes it .

    maybe a codec issue , try using the K lite downlaod mega pack and play it in Media player classic. I sure you have latest drivers etc:

    that was quick,

    i have all the lastest drivers and stuff....i will try the codecs later


    hows the ATI going for you?

    ok next part of the problem...

    should one have the same abilitys with the Digital display as the analog

    i swaped over to the analog and my dvd quaility has returned and I now have 18 differenet res choices and 4 different refresh rates but only about 8
    res choices and 1(60hz) with the digital...

    is the card fooked

    Nope it be the monitors settings.

    feck about with them , what monitor have you got ?
