    I am thinking of going to Nimes for 1 week next March
    Any ideas on rental accommodation of web sites 4 info.
    Any "cheap" ways to get there?

    Cheapest way would be to fly to Beauvais with Ryanair and get a special SNCF "Prem" fare to take the TGV down to Nimes. Would cost from around 100 euro upwards.

    I went there few years ago...
    flew to Stanstead, then onto Nimes with Ryanair..
    then flew back St. Etienne - Stanstead - Cork..

    toured around a bit.. did Marseille and stuff.. lovely area .. Monaco is fab you have to go there too... it's easily done in a day trip.. too expensive to stay too long but it's class to walk the track!!!

    Was there two years ago for 3 months. They have a bull fight festival on around march/april which you should try to time your visit about cos the town really comes alive during the festival!!

    Travel: Went to paris (with ryanair) and then got flight from there to Montpeiller which is only around 20 minutes on train from Nimes.
