    Does anyone on here know anywhere to get a monkey or even just inform me of the legalities...I'd love to get a monkey and I've always wanted one...so any help would be appreciated

    Hi not sure where you can get monkeys - I know in the UK marmosets are easy to get hold of don't require DWA (we don't have this is Ireland) I would advise that you talk to your local dept of agriculture they should tell you what legalitise you need to ahere to. How much research have you done? primates require a huge amount of care they are expensive need mental stimulation & the correct diet - I plan to get some marmosets next year - I have a 12x6x9ft avairy with a small heated shed area with a next box & some braches & shelves. I will import these from the uk they are around stg£1000 per pair other primates cost a lot more & are harder to get hold of.
