    Hey all, anyone read this?

I found it very enjoyable and would highly recommend it, anyways here's my question...
i didnt give this much of a second thought until the person who lent me the book asked me what i thought about it. at the end toru rings midori and she asks him where he is, and he says he doesnt know. Is this just some sort of metaphor for his life at that very moment or was the whole thing just one big dream?

    thanks
