gmail improves contacts feature

Still can't group contacts properly (have to cheat to do so) but they've improved their contacts functionality by some degree. If you click on the name of one of your contacts it pulls up the recent conversations that you've had with that person.

why cant gmail just give us a list of contacts that we can select just like hotmail does.... sometimes ya just have to accept when a rival is doing something better and copy them rather than attempt to innovate

I'd rather they take the time and get it right. I like the autocomplete when you start to type the address.

What was so wrong with sendmail alias lists? It worked perfectly and has never been bettered.

yeah some of the stuff hotmail have is good and is kinda like a general thing for all email accounts. Like the contacts list, being able to put in info into it so its like a proper address book. I have lots of friends address in my hotmail one and some phone numbers too. so i want to see them put that in.
