    what???
    what isp are you with?
if you're with esat the limits are 8gb up/ 8gb down, seperate like
gaming wont use that much and its pretty easy to keep track of your usage via an online logging system: http://www.iol.ie/broadband/bb_use.htm
    something like that for esat

Download DUMeter from www.dumeter.com. It's only about 1MB. You can start a stopwatch. Go play DOD for an hour or two. When you finish playing the game the stopwatch will tell you how much data you have uploaded/downloaded while you where playing.

Also you can see how much you have up/downloaded each day/week/month

It's a 30 day trial but it is worth paying the $20 for!

Online gaming uses sweet fuk all... you won't be hitting anywhere near 8Gigs a month if you're just gaming and web-surfing.
Don't give it a second though, really... don't.
You can be online-gaming 12 hours a day, every day for the whole month and still not have to worry about it (trust me I know!)
The only time you'd get close is when you've done a lot of downloading... a few hundred MB here and there adds up.
I'm on the 16Gig cap deal, I don't even check my download totals anymore.

if it just web browsing and online gaming and one machine. You will never hit 8GB.

I have 5 machines running off mine. Occasional large download, two of the machines the people who use them do listen to streaming music or streaming video from time to time. I also online game and use it for work (which is intensive).

The highest I have gotten it in one month is just over 9GB. I am on 16GB cap.
