Problem with Zsnes and the game Firemen

    Was enjoying playing the game firemen until I got to level 5 or 6 when it started raining in the game. The problem is that the game does some weird effect that zsnes can't display and you get a black screen. I tried removing background sprite layers but it didn't help just got a black screen and flickery menu bar.

    I'm using the latest version of the windows version of zsnes. Was wondering if there is a way to fix this so I can finish the game or if there is another emulator that will display this part of the game.

    You could try http://www.snes9x.com/
    I prefer it over Zsnes. But it's handy having both.

    I'll give it a try. I read the firemen game was made by a games school in japan and to impress they did some really weird SNES hardware effects that are very hard to emulate.
