Have my computer a year never had the money to buy a pci or AGP card. Everything is onboard.

Bought a sound card and it wont fit. When the part of the card closest to the center of the motherboard is touching the pci slot, the inner half is about 1 1/2 cm away. It seems like the motherboard and the case are not at right angles. i have unscrewed the motherboard and tried to move it a little and screw it down again but i can not get enough slack.
    Case : chietec
    Mboard : Abit

anyone ever have a similar problem? if so how did you solve it?

Agreed. Chieftec make qood quality cases so there should be no way you could screw in your motherboard properly and have it mis-aligned with the openings of the case.
