If you mean the full game, downloading games is illegal (unless you own the origional, which people rarely do), and posting about it on boards will get you banned very quickly, so I would advise either rephrasing your origional post so it couldbt be about downloading the full game, or cut the whole post entirely, otherwise theres a fair chance of a banning stick.

your not meant to download warez games or even talk about it as its illegal but after spending €50 on Dawn Of War to find that the official cds wont play on my machine after installation is a bit hard to swallow - the same thing happened to me with unreal tournment 2004, the dvd wouldnt play the game on my machine after it was installed and i had no choice but to download a tiny file to play the game that i paid for.

Clearly the guy hasnt read the charter which im sure MUST be done when you aggree to register on boards, this is a blantant breach of agreement.

This crusade against warez annoys the hell out of me. Fair enough, ban it from boards, but do we have to get the same bloody rant every damn time? Im sure plenty of the guys here on boards are programmers, but it just gets a little tiresome to hear people scream so vehemently each time. Just calmly, and quietly, ban them.

I bought warhammer 40k by the way.

But as for the site mentioned above, I use it for getting episodes of family guy and futurama. I own every single family guy and futurama. I download them so i can watch them in my bedroom. It serves a purpose. (im not a lawyer so i still amnt sure if its legal)

fluffer stop talking shlt. If you don’t own the copyright to something, or do not have permission to download it, - if you like it or not - it is illegal. [So you don’t get confused… illegal = not legal].

Furthermore, if you want confess to breaking local laws, or international law, I suggest you visit your local police station and do so to a member of your state’s police force.

BlackWizard is banned from the games board for two weeks for asking for help with warez, and for naming a warez group. This should be considered as a warning, if the user is found again to be breaking warez rules he/she will be permanently banned.
