    I'm looking for 2 cheap basic use laptops for someone and came across this crowd >> www.eulaptop.com

    Just wondering if anyone has dealt with them?
    For EUR339 (incl del)
    they offer the Dell Latitude CPi
    * Intel PII 266mhz Processor
    * 4 gig Hard Drive
    * 64 meg RAM
    * CDROM Drive
    * 3.5 inch Floppy
    * 13.3 inch TFT color display
    * Serial‚ parallel and USB ports
    * 2 PCMCIA Slots
    * 56k modem

    The have a notice on their website to say they are closed. Here is the info on the front page

    I wouldn't pay more than €150 for that machine tbh. Even then, only if I was stuck.

    that's just it seamus I AM really stuck.
    I've trawled the FS boards for anything- no joy.

    anyone have any leads ?
    any old laptop will do once it has a modem.
