    BBC write-up of the Face Of The Future exhibition

    So what do ye think? Overall it's food for thought...

    I find it interesting that manga-style "big eyes" will become popular, given that outside of Japanese culture it's only recently that this sort of visual style has become widely known (thanks to the widespread appeal of cartoons like Pokemon, Digimon, etc)

    I'm also curious that the effects of piercings and more extreme facial modifications don't seem to be discussed - things like Molly in William Gibson's "Neuromancer", who has two-way mirrors implanted in her face that fully cover her eyes and enhance her vision.
