IOL Settings?

    Hi guys,

    need some settings for setting up IOL BB. Can anyone give me a hand?

    Need settings for :
    vci
    vpi
    mtu

    Also can't specify authentication type, does that matter?

    The WAN/Modem settings for IOL Broadband are as follows:

    Mode: Routing
    Encapsulation: PPPoE
    Multiplex: LLC
    VPI: 8
    VCI: 35

    No mention of MTU there as far as I can see start with 1500.

    MTU should be 1492.

    Yes, it should be the same for all dsl other than the Esat business one thats run over LLU exchanges (I don't know how they're set up, it may be the same aswell).

    PPPoE supports a maximum MTU of 1492.
