Got a scanner here plugged into a machine that turns out it doesnt actually exist. thats right, i've got an OKIscan 96 elite sitting in front of me but it does not in fact exist. I've gone to OKI website, googled, went to driversguide.com and even yahoo.
    nothing, nada.
There is an FCC ID: JSF-FB262 and Driverguide returns 4 drivers. one says its a "fb7 IMAGE READER ULTRA" from Info Products. Next says it a "636P Plus" from IntreSource, also a "SCF 3600P" from Memorex and finally a "TCE s430" from other.
    whats the story with it?

Also the software for it on the pc cant be found by googling and doesnt seem to work properly: PEZTwain and Mr.Scan Easy.

    i'm at a loss.
If i can get it recognised ok by windows 2000 what is a good bit of scanning software i could use with it??

    /update
Ok, it actually scans ok with the pc its connected to however the scanning software Mr Scaneasy wont let me save the file in any other format other than in a trt format. When i go to print the scanned document it then prints out the size of a postage stamp. i cant find any way yo enlarge it to print full page.
