Could I get a listing of quake 2 servers??

Decent ones with pings < 70 or so (using broadband)

There are no Quake II servers in ireland that I'm aware of.
Your best bet is to get a copy of AllSeeEye and locate the servers in that.

Ya, 70 ping on DSL would take you from Sweden to Italy; bound to be some active q2 servers somewhere in Europe.
