Why do HP printers bought in Europe have no USB cable included and ones in the states do?.
Or am I incorrect in this assumption?
A guy in HP told me,
so its word of mouth info.

Wasnt a happy chappy last night when discovering I needed one to connect my new printer.
Step 1 and 2 in the Setup instructions installs partially the software.
To finish the installation you need to connect the printer...which needs a USB cable.

In the top left hand corner of the Instruction poster there is the following advice:

'Make sure you are using the correct side of the poster'

'Windows users:Follow the steps in order.Do not connect USB cable until instructed to do so.

'See your box for exact contents and system requirments'

So I checked box and see 'USB CABLE NOT INCLUDED'

Maybe Retailer should have told me.?
    HP should supply one?
I should know printers dont have USB cables supplied?..As everyone knows this!

I'll go buy one today anyway :)

    Nem.

Most printer manufacturers do not include this cable, keeps down costs and improves their profits.

Basically means they can screw us for every penny (cent in new money)
Like they do for everything else....Beer, Petrol, food clothes, the proletariate have your pockets sucked dry wherever you go.

It's like buying a car, but the steering wheel is extra. If they remember to mention it.
