Black Mask

Released last year, I just saw it lately.

Has JetLi as a survivor of a doomed commando squad that had been augmented to super-human speed/strength by a serum that will kill them in one year....Something goes wrong on a mission, he thinks they all died and he goes for a quiet life as a librarian.
Little does he know his ex team-mates are now annihilating members of the underworld in a subtle plan to blackmail the govt. into giving them the antidote.....When they tangle with Jet-Li's police mate, he becomes Black-Mask (A blatant but admitted to pun for the green hornet/kato show), and heattempts to stop them.....



Completely OTT, but very funny (What can you say to a fight in a nitrogen filled room when one says to the other "I Trained you well, but how long can you fight without breathing!.." Classic stuff).
The action is excellent, some of the best I've ever seen (Though it is obviously sped up in places).
With some very cute Oriental women to boot (Look out for Kai-Lynn)

All in all I'd give it 8/10.

Speaking of Green Hornet, i think Jet Li has been signed up to play Kato. I prefer the rumour of him being in The Matrix sequels myself.
