There's enough flowery language in there to make me think of the 15k/16k mark.

Of course this could knock a couple of k off?

    Remember

Also take into account that we have among the highest wages in europe, and apparently most of us are being overpaid, and that we've had the celtic tiger so wages must have shot up over that period at least. ;)

I'll guess at the 15/16k mark too.

They better be paying more than the muppet who wrote the job description...

"The Position" is not actually described until the third paragraph. They have trouble knowing what should be one word ("further more") and what should be two words ("maybe"). They don't know what the word "subsequently" means.

All in all, looks like a shakey organisation. Given the nature of the post (it sounds like a "you won't believe this, but guess anyway") I'd guess low. So, for managing "an integral part of the operation of this Organisation" I'm gonna shoot for 17K.

    Do I get a cookie?

Well the ad said 20k so we're all kinda in the same ballpark. Most can see its a bs description. What programmer who is fluent in two of those languages is going to work for 20k? Most graduates won't. Most graduates and students won't be fluent either. Thats ignoring the rest of the spec. I was curious what people thought of it.

20K, surely this denotes 20kg's of solid gold?
