My girlfriend got me one last christmas. It cost her €70 for an hour. If you're in the Limerick area, coonagh flying clulb do them.

My girlfriend got me one too (hey, i'm beginning to notice a trend here.>) at South Aer based in cork airport if that's any help.

there's a bit of a backlog though, i phoned them last week asking can i book my lesson for the following wednesday, and the response i got was "good god no". so now i have to wait till the end of november :)

Argos do an introductory flying lesson in their catalogue, with a list of venues that are available.

The National Flight Centre (Weston Aerodrome) in Kildare are great too.

I think there's a place in Carlow as well....

    Try www.skytrace.ie
They are also located at Weston airport but I think they're a bit cheaper than the national flight centre.
    great idea!
