Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Attachments

I've a PC with Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, which blocks attachments which it thinks are threats... I had a big attachment sent over, takes an hour to d/load & then outlook 2003 blocks it & I wonder could I retrieve it from a temp folder?
