Speakers. Recommend me a good set

    Right, I now have money to [finally] get myself a good set of speakers. And I turn to you good people to advise me. I want the Logitech Z-680's. But alas I can't afford them. Unless I buy from amazon.com, but if I do that, does anyone have an idea on the shipping charges?
    So if the above fails, I was looking at the z-640's. Any good? I want to be able to play games loud, with lots of varying noises and not got evil nasty distortion when the bass starts rumbling. The same for music.
    Also, while we're kind of on the subject, what do ya'll think of this monitor?

    didnt amazon use to do a "super saver" or something, where if u bought something over £25 worth they would send it to you like..2nd class or something, ok it took 3 or 4 days to get there but it was free :D

    dunno if thats still going tbh..i know it use to though..

    It's good, you can get it cheaper from Jes, it is the same monitor by the way Samtron just rebrand Samsung monitors.

    You can get those Logitech 680's on JES for €289.99 and I think shipping is about €20. I have the Altec Lansing 5100 Enhanced 5.1 Speaker System which works out at about €160 and then whatever shipping charges. Fantastic sound and they look cool :cool:
