Shopping Channels On EPG

    I see another shopping channel is on the way on wednesday called express shopping on channel 781
    Why did they pick this epg number when there is clearly spare numbers around where the shopping channels are. Is the epg not bad enove, now there the putting channels any were they like. How many more shopping channels do we need.

    If you viewed satellite via any other device than a SKY digibox than you would get to choose which channels got which number, but then again you might skip past the advertising and be less likely to buy something. And here's the best bit - to be on the EPG you have to pay SKY.

    Like a software license, you can do whatever they allow you to do, subject to change anytime.

    Note: the EPG sw can be upgraded by SKY anytime..
