    Any gamers @ DIT?

I'm at kevin street and was wondering where the best place to play games (Counter-strike, basically) would be.
Will there be any gamers setting up a society.
By the way when is the sport and societys day on, or has it been?

    Anyone

im in kevin street too. you cant install anything on the pcs and the right click on the mouse has been disabled. id love to play some counterstrike though. at the start of last year me and three others had quake 3 arena on some of the pcs and we were playin around the room. was great! then someone found childporn and the pcs were all given high security.

Bah, restrictions, I've gotten arround them looooaaaadddsss of times b4. But I'm not a fan of playing games were ppl are studying. Cause it annoys them.
I was thinking of the college allowing us a room on a day. the other college beside us has loads of new PCs...

Where does one play CS in Dublin? I want to get into the scene. I'm staying up this weekend and would love to get some gaming in!

There was a gamers soc died a couple years back. Last i heard DIT didn't want them using any of the college PC's and i don't think thats likely to change any time soon.

ok. As reguards gaming. Last year there were a few successful gaming nights Held in Nethouse On Eustace St.
They will more than likely happen again this year, also, The Netsoc is rumoured to be being brought back to life, so if that were to happen then it would incorporate a gaming society there.

    I'll keep yee informed anyways.
