I went to see Sofia Coppolla'a Virgin Suicides at the weekend and it was really good. Not great now, it was missing something. The characters were too remote. However they kind of had to be because they were trying to create a sense of mystery around the mother. Anyway, won't reveal too much. It is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. The movie is shot really well. The neighbourhood and the all american hazy sunlight pervade everyth9ing as the bad bad things go on. Sofia Coppolla is one to watch.

It is so lonely here in my indecipherable tower of speech impedimency
