Not a bad film. Funny and with a good story line.

Sort of trails off at the end though. Kevin Spacey is excellent in it.

What are you talking about? The film is glorifying a thug! You know, MARTIN CAHILL! They changed the names, but that's who the film's based on. They make him out to be a decent bloke, AND HE WASN'T!

Didn't it get Ye Olde Kicking's in the reviews? And let's face it, anything thats 'Exclusively Available to Rent at Xtravision' is invariably $hite.

Guess I'll have to go see Scream 3 and Galaxy Quest for me culture this weekend smile.gif

"The General" was a far better treatment of the subject imho.

although, making any kind of film about a gangster such as Cahill could be seen as glorifying him.

This was the worst film I have seen in a long time!

The story was ****e, the acting was ****e and the accents
    were ****e.

Avoid any film which has a connection to Thaddeus
O'Sullivan. He has an uncanny ability to make ****e
    out of anything.

Ah c'mon. There's loads of films that glorify criminals. Take most westerns for example. It's just this particular criminal lived in Dublin.

It was not a good film. What was up with Spacey's accent?

The General was a much better film if it's a Martin Cahill flick you want.

    All the best,

"Top of the moring to ya"............

What the f*** was this about, the American version of "The General" with the happy "off on his bike into the sunset" ending.

    Rubbish........

GO ON Xtravision, the best tripe first:/
