I came across this job offer and wondered whether this was a well known company in Korea.

I searched the company,Vonsan, on the Korean websites but I couldn't find it. Sorry but I've never heard of the brand either. As for VTR or DVD or Computer such as electronic goods, Samsung is one of the famous companies(HyonDai, Daewoo, LG, etc) of Korea. So you better be careful with this website. It's not trustful.

Thanks for that Frany. I had come to the same conclusion myself. Even the website address on the advert doesn't work. Do you know if the address they gave is real?

Good call Frany. It is actually a kind of scam. More details here..

It is not a Korean company, they stole the images from a Korean website.

Going to move this thread to a forum more suited to it (leaving forwarding link).

Checking the biki I noticed this post. I noticed the links above no longer work. So for bikis sake here is what happens.

    1. They offer you a job where you open a bank account for customers to put in payments on items they have sold.

    2. You open the account and loads of cash comes pouring in. You are expected to send via Western Union (to bypass taxes). They claim you can keep 20% or there of.

... Here is what really happens.

    1. Phishers have stolen various bank accounts.

    2. You open a bank account and the thieves move all the cash from the other accounts into your account.

    3. You create the western union payments and smile with glee when you have made tons of cash.

    4. A few weeks later the cops arrest you for stealing all the money. The thieves disappear with the majority of the money.
