Hi all... I've got a work night out coming up in a few weeks on a Thursday night...

The usual ideas have been put about... Meal and Drinks etc... But I and a few other think that this is a bit boring.. So we've been asked to come up with a few ideas...

We have 40 euro per head to spend, so there is quite a few things that are possible with that sort of cash...

Has anyone been on any unusual work nights out or with a group of people for example...

Its going to be in Dublin. City centre or other locations in dublin are ok...

    Thanks for any ideas...

    /edit: woohoo 700 posts...

stones in his pockets IS good...

are there regular comedy nights available...you get somebody whose paid to be funny entertaining you, rather than Declan from accounts acting like a prat snorting tequila off a spoon....etc

How many of you are there? If its a big crowd you could organise a Casino night....We had one last year - was in Lansdowne rugby club (I think). Absolute laugh.

Theres about 20. Its only our team, rather than the whole office...

Casino night sounds good but you might need a bigger crowd for that... and no doubt there will be a few peolpe who wont turn up..

MY last job did a fancy dress, thought it was great laugh renting out a costume and making a show of each other,
though nbowling is good aswell, that was our last social, then off for some pub gruba dn some pints. tis good idea to get a few drinks into yea before bowling, bowling got the older crowd to go, they never liked the idea of just renting a function room and all the young people going and getting twisted at a free bar so they kinda gave up on going..
