Capital punishment barbaric? All criminals should be sent to the chair, yeah. Fry them all. That'll solve any crime problems. God has the right idea, if you a sinner, you go to hell, you go to hell and you die.

Okay, enough messing. Green Mile is a great film, all should go see.

Anyone out there enjoy this as much as I did? Adapted from a novel by Stephen King and directed by the same guy who brought us The Shawshank Redemption, this film is pure Oscar material. Brilliant performances by Hanks as the prison guard on death row,co-star who plays John Caulfield an inmate and the mouse Mr. Jingles. One thing though, it was 3 hours 10 mins long not that I ever noticed, so you might want to choose an early showing.

I'm not going to spoil it for you by telling you the story - go and see for yourselves. It will certainly bring home the realities of capital punishment and how barbaric a practise it is.

Good Lord!
That was some sick-**** film.
Those electric chair scenes were some twisted ****, (the con going on fire because the guy didn't wet the sponge), christ!, what kind of sick *******s enjoy watching that?
Totaly ruined the rest of what otherwise might have been a good film.




If you don't like seeing ppl fry on the chair, stay well away!!!

The chair is one of the few things that realy freaks me the fuuck out as it is!

Yes, the execution scenes were sick, but i think they suited the film. Capital punishment isn't supposed to be nice you know...

I have tried to see it a number of times in Stern Century in Liffey Valley, But each time I have gone The show has been booked out, Maybe I'll try again this weekend, And Hope I survive the 3hrs 10 mins...
