Hi, got banned from security. I accept it was posting essentially a tech support question without reading the charter. The question is why did I get banned instead of cautioned when others who asked similair questions in the recent past merely got the thread moved to windows. Such as:

    http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=186460

    and
    http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=189086

I don't use this account much, so I don't particulary mind being banned. I'm just wondering if I'm ebing made an example of or something?

    p.s.
I solved the problem at issue by disabbling some stuff in msconfig. It does concern me and I thought that it was a security issue that something was able to connect by http to some dutch site without being detected by adaware, spybot, zone alarms or free anti vir.

I believe that you failed to read and obey the charter, before posting your query, and hence where banned. PM Dogs and or ecksor and they may reply with a more detailed reason.
