Have just been informed by Vodafone.ie data support that Win XP SP2 is 'not supported' by the 3G card by Option that they supply. I've been advised to downgrade, and arse to that.

I'm in the happy circumstance of having told them that I was running SP2 before I bought it. Be wide!

    Cork slang:
    Be wide: be careful
Be dog wide: be extra careful

    Don't ask me why!

Funnily enough we have a dell laptop where I work with XP SP2 and the vodafone 3G card works fine. But I guess with different hardware + software your milage may vary. Vodafone are possibly covering their arses.
