Searchbars??

    Does anybody know how to delete info from previous searches i.e when im in google and click on the searchbar to enter in some text all of my previous searches are still there e.g. jenna jameson, Brianna Banks etc etc...also it come up on loads of websites i have no spyware or anything its probably just a setting but i cant figure it out!!

    Click on the google icon of the search bar and a drop down menu appears with "clear search history" on it.

    i havent got a google search bar if thats what u mean im just using google as an example,say when i log into my e-mail a list of previous sign-in names appear???

    go to Tools..Internet Options..Content Tab..AutoComplete..and click Clear Forms.
    You can also untick the boxes on there too to prevent them from capturing in future.

    whe the drop down list appears and which ever one is highlited then just press delete! i think its the handyest! it dosent work for firefox afaik!

    Spot on, alot of people don't seem to know about this one and just think that clearing their history & deleting cookies will clear their tracks.

    Well doing that would clear it all, untill you start going to the sites again.

    Or you could just go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete -> Uncheck all the boxes there

    That will stop remembering stuff completely so you don't have to worry about your Mother seeing what you are searching for. :D
