A pal of mine wants to get RTE1,2,TV3&TG4 in Walkinstown. What antenna or antennas does he need?
Where is the best priced seller in that locality?
Is all possible from Three Rock?

    Thanks alot!!! :D:D:D

A decent pair of bunny ears would pick up Three Rock in Walkinstown. :)
For outside, a Group W or wideband aerial, as TG4 is at 55.

For a simple indoor UHF aerial, DID Electrical or any other electrical shop would sell them. I have one here for indoor reception from Three Rock for my TV card, and its fine. Yes, all 4 are available.

If you want an outdoor aerial, I dont know of any, TBH, but the "shops" sticky on the Satellite thread might help if they erect aerials as well as satellite dishes.

    HTH.

    For outdoor:
You would get a grid wideband aerial and some co ax in petes on parnell st.
    Won't need an amp
    quite cheap
But I'd recommend this gadget for indoor simplicity.
It's a wideband indoor aerial with a built in amp for less than €30 and it delivers crystal three rock in my sisters house in Dublin in a very built up area-suit your mate down to the ground I'd say.
