32 frets, 7 string, emg pickup. But the 7th string is fretless.... Hmmm.

I'll name that tune in three! ;)

Interesting. Can't say I'd bring it to a gig in Voodoo though :D

I'd say it took a while to carve too!

    Why only one pickup though?

I really would love to play something like that though, could be very cool indeed, especially to see what the hell the fretless 7th string is like. Very interesting indeed man!

In all fairness, where could you put another pickup while maintaining the 25.5" scale length?

Well, if the body was slightly different... I mean, I'm sure when whoever carved it, they had a pretty good layout. I dunno.

The only way to get another pickup in there is to go to single coils and loose a couple of frets.

It looks like something Uli Roth would play :)

Is it actually wood ?? The same effect could be gotten from a resin mould and paint it up like wood.

You could get a roadie to hold a pick up in front of the strings while you play ;)

Never mind fretless, that low B (I'm presuming) string looks like it's actually fret-BOARD less!

The neck doesn't seem to extend wide enough to accomodate the extra string. Or at least it looks that way in that photo...

Interesting guitar. Although I'd think I'd feel a bit ridiculous with a monstrous ornate dragon head gaping alongside my crotch. But different strokes for different folks, I guess :)

Yeah but think of the chicks you'd get ;)

True Dr. J, but I think they'd be limited to a serpent girl / gigantism sufferer hybrid...

    Mo Mowlam, so.

    Altogether now: "Oooooh...!" :)
