    Heh heh heh

They were supposed to play here on the Cause Of Death tour. We were in McGonagles, their gear was set up and ready to go but no Obituary. Word was they got stopped in customs and couldn't make the gig on time. James Murphy left shortly afterwards. It was the worst day ever :(

They better play the fookin gig this time!

if you look over 18 go, thats what I always did in my youth - damn this parental thingy

plus if you know anyone over 21 that is going, let them adpot you for one night only, that way you are at the gig under adult supervision

hehe, i reckon they would be getting strict with this no under 18s in a licensed premises after 8 or 9 or whatever, presuming the Village is a pub?

    Obituary played in Cork?? damn...

I'll definitely be there - so glad they're back even though i though Back from the Dead was kinda average compared to the classics like Cause Of Death and The End Complete.

The first two, Slowly We Rot and Cause Of Death. Classics. Cause Of Death is my personal favourite, I thought James Murphy's melodic lead playing really complimented the brutal riffing.

To me, they're more like an evolution of early Celtic Frost (a good thing, a very good thing). Go to the gig, this is going to kick ass.

aye, should be a fantastc gig :) and nesthead, yes at the Village alcohol is served :p , however when I was last there for Entombed, I dont remember any of the lads on the door being that strict.

hell that is always the chance you take when you goto an over 18's gig - done it loads of times in my youth and always got away with it (prehaps because I had a beard??) but still its all part and parcel of the gig going experience :)
