Brennan says congestion charges not on agenda
    19 September 2004 16:20

The Minister for Transport, Seamus Brennan, has said congestion charges for Dublin are not on his agenda at the moment.

Speaking in Bray, Co Wicklow, Minister Brennan said his priority was to complete major infrastructure projects such as the M50 motorway and the Port tunnel to help alleviate the capital's traffic problem.

The Minister was responding to newspaper reports that congestion charges could be introduced in Dublin over the coming years to help the city's traffic flow more smoothly.

If there is to be a congestion charge it should be €0 and no, I didn't mis-type that.
