You can buy an infrared adaptor to swap info between the phone and a pc.

It's handy also for transferring pics between the pc and phone (either way) and you can upload you phone book to the pc just in case the worst happens.

I got a Belkin USB IRda adaptor recently and despite the lad in PC World telling me it wouldn't work, it works fine. I now have my phone book backed up and have saved all of the pics I took - saves space on the phone for more. They don't print off too bad either.

Cost about 60 quid though

The iRDA thing can be got for about 39 yoyos if you shop around. Belkin do one for about that price.

Something to be aware of is that not all phones with IR can use the file exchange system you mention. Some phones have very very basic IR ports that will simply allow a laptop to use the phone as a modem, the Sharp GX10 is an example that comes to mind, hopefully the Sagem is better equipped.

Does the documentation for the sagem mention what format the games must be in - Java, Mophun etc etc.

There are many collections of games available via the popular filesharing apps so the 40 or so quid investment in the IRDA device may be worthwhile.
