I need to pick up a couple of new spokes - I busted a couple on the back wheel whilst touring heavily loaded. From the Trek 4300 page: "WHEELS: Alloy hubs; Matrix 550 rims; 14G ss spokes"

Is "14G ss spokes" enough information to go on? Does this mean "14 gram weight stainless steel spokes"?

I intended to install and true myself. Any advice?

even if you're going to install yourself you'll have to buy them somewhere, just ask...

SS does mean stainless steal afaik. the G may be gauge though.
