The Offaly Standoff

So I am a bit surprised that nobody has seen fit to comment on this situation. Firstly I was very surprised to learn that Gerry Fahy's reappointment was such a close call, after all he won 9 out of 12 competitive matches last season, which is not a bad run. Apparently the coiunty board had decided to set up a Football Review panel after the decision to reappoint Fahy, but the man they selected to head this panel was the same guy who had tried to get Fahy out of the job, so I am not surprised he left. I must applaud the players on the stance that they have taken on this situation, and I would not be shocked if the hurlers followed suit. The county currently has no football manager, no football team, and no hurling manager. That county board must be a little bit special!
