Having spent a bit of time with Google, it seems that there are bunches of solutions for digital TV. I have bog standard NTL and don't really plan to upgrade it to anything else. So I need a DVR that can do MPEG conversion from analogue signal. I haven't had much luck finding a reasonably priced model. A lot of them come with DVD writers, which I'm not interested in.

Anyone have any suggestions?
