porn keeps popping up on my computer when im on the net i think its cos i have been using kazaa is there anyway to get rid of/block this

And finally, don't use KaZaa (or however the capatilisation goes this week), its a known haven for these types of problems. If you must persist in "sharing of dubious legality", then at least use a safer option like BitTorrent...

It's wrong to say that you get spyware solely from P2P files, even though that's where a lot of them emerge. I've had files install after getting trial versions of shareware from what look like perfectly legitimate sites.

However porn redirectors are usually something that comes free with the free stuff. Also only idiots still use kazaa: get K-Lite+ (if you can find a link), no spyware at all and no pop ups or other nasties either.

lol.. only joking spybot is ok but if u really want all the adware removed then check out PestPatrol .. it really is the best removes alot of stuff spybot cant find.

I would also suggest installing a Firewall and SP2 from microsoft if you are running XP as it has it's own pop up stopper built in and works fairly well.
