    Yeah Helv,

Glengarry Glen Ross is an aquired taste, but then again I work in sales, so I have experienced some of the crap that happens in that film. The scene with Alex Baldwin is a classic thou.

"1st Prize you win a Cadallic
2nd Prize you win a set of steak knives
3rd Prize you lose your job" smile.gif

Hehehe and of course "Coffee's for Closers"

Yeah Usual Suspects is a class film as well, but not in my top ten at the mo wink.gif

    Gandalf.

Hmm...Air Force One? Not exactly what you'd call a brilliant film...

Sorry Baz but Hackers definitly doesn't deserve a place in any top ten..

But Bio Dome...Iron man, Iron man, does everthing and Iron can!

    Okay..top ten in no order

    Chasing Amy
    Fallen
    Usual Suspects
    Terminator
    Clerks
    Excalibur
    Leon
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking barrells
    Braveheart
    Die Hard II

They may not be the best or most thought provoking films, but they're the ones that I enjoy the most.

I wait now for you to tear apart the list.

    Draco

Well, the above suggestions certainly do seem to cover the majority of the 'usual' style movies. For your delectation, I thought I'd post some alternative viewing - most of which can be obtained from video outlets on submission of at least £50.00 and the correct password *wink* *wink*

    1) Rod Hull's Guide to TV Arial installation
    2) Grandma Does a Dump III
    3) Candy's Little Sister, Sugar
    4) The best of Animal Cruelty, 2
    5) Armoured cars - Diana's Revenge
    6) Eating your feet
    7) Botulism, the Forgotten Years
    8) Cooking with Pasta
    9) Debbie Does Dallas, Texas and Vegas.
    10) Too Rude To Mention - Dwarfs and Chairs

I do not advise watching more than 2 of the above in one sitting.

    Sorry, couldn't let this slip:

"the harrier. and even thats sad cos if a harrier flew that close to a building it would blow all the glass inwards instantly"

Absolute rubbish. Skysraper windows are specifically designed to withstand air moving at immense velocities - the empire state building is designed to withstand air moving at a true velocity of 150mph.

And the harrier was operating for the most part in VTOL mode - so the thrust was directed downwards, and to the rear of it.

Anorak? lol smile.gif Nah, I've seen them up close and personal, I have a friend who flies one and I've stood no more than 50 feet away whilst one landed. Oh, and I've flown in one too. And a Seaking, and a Jaguar, and a Tornado, and a Lynx...

You get the point smile.gif -- when it comes to fast attack aircraft, especially marine (Fleet Air Arm) varieties, I know a bit smile.gif

Now, where's my duffel coat? ah...

well someone asked what i think or something..
ehh Hackers is a pile of toss
uless your c00l and like rollerblades and apple macs.
Air Force One was sh*te. unbelivably crap effects for such a big budget film.. (seen it in the cinema .. you could nearly see the strings in the model plane)
True Lies??? hahahahaha even worse. Arnold Swarzwhatever in his lamest role ever.. (well apart from that kindergarten cop thing) only good thing? the harrier. and even thats sad cos if a harrier flew that close to a building it would blow all the glass inwards instantly.
now what else can i put down..
ehh nothing smile.gif so i'll just laugh at the thought of Hackers being a good film again hahahahah crash n' burn maaannnn acidburn even hahaha

With hindsight I don’t think the phantom menace makes his top 10 now!

Thank God for that, was thinking as I read down through the posts that I had rarely seen a list of favourite films that did not include at least one of GF1 or 2.

Locking this as 23 years is a hell of a bump.
